What is Superbook?
In 2009, the Christian Broadcasting Network relaunched Superbook, a Biblically-based children’s television series. Since then, over 1.2 million children worldwide have chosen to follow Jesus because of the impact of Superbook! Today, God has expanded Superbook’s vision to include Superbook Academy, which is an online Sunday School resource utilised in churches all across the world!
What is different about Superbook Academy?
Superbook Academy is the ultimate online Sunday School resource! Superbook takes the class on exciting adventures with Chris, Joy, and Gizmo through Biblical stories! Superbook Academy immerses children in the stories of Biblical characters – like Paul, David, or Moses – and teaches them how to apply Biblical principles to their own lives.
Our lesson plans are easy-to-customise and can be tailored to fit the needs of the classroom. Each lesson plan comes with detailed leader guides, small group teaching guides, Superbook videos, engaging prayer and worship content, games, crafts, adventurous activities, and memory verses. We’ve put it all in one place, so Sunday School teachers can focus on their ministry.

Meet the characters
Gizmo
A robot created by Chris’ dad, Professor Quantum, to protect the kids—but they end up protecting him. He loves upgrades to make himself more useful and would rather stay in the lab than time-travel with Superbook. A really cool feature of Gizmo is that he can change his appearance as needed.
Chris Quantum
An awesome skateboarder, video gamer and lead guitarist in a garage band with his Valleyview Middle School buddies, Chris uncovers the secrets of Superbook through a mysterious portal to the past.
Joy Pepper
Next-door neighbour and classmate of Chris Quantum at Valleyview Middle School. She is outgoing and usually a bit more adventurous than Chris. She loves soccer, is athletic, and great at other sports as well.
